Kevin and Shanna Lovell and their family moved to Huron in July 2025 to begin serving with the Wisconsin Avenue Church of Christ.

They are 2020 graduates of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Biblical Studies in Denver, Colorado, where Kevin completed a Bachelor of Biblical Studies and Shanna completed the women’s program.

After graduating, they began ministry work by becoming house parents at Southern Christian Children’s Home in Morrilton, Arkansas, where they ministered to teenage boys ages 14-18 as part of the SCCH Independent Living Program.

In addition, they took on multiple roles to help an Arkansas congregation for five years. Kevin worked mainly with the youth of the congregation but also in leadership, preaching, song leading, and serving in any way possible. Shanna taught many classes and coordinated with the other teachers on education and curriculum.

Kevin and Shanna are blessed with four children.
